Ensuring an easy and seamless ADOIT modelling experience for all users has always been one of our top priorities. Finally, with our brand new hover modelling assistant – SmartHover – we are fully delivering on this mission!

With SmartHover, architecture modelling is truly as easy as it gets! Its intelligent technology guides you through the process of modelling and helps you build your modelling sequence from start to finish by predicting and suggesting the most likely objects to come next in line.

In addition to its incredible modelling support, SmartHover also offers quick access to other features you might need along the way, like the object properties and the URL generator. All you need to do is drop an object into the drawing area, let SmartHover lead the way and you’ll be done before you know it!

All Artefacts You Need, Right At Your Fingertips

When accessing and working with numerous different models on a daily basis, navigating through your recent work only gets harder – as it requires you to drill into multiple locations of your repository. Sound familiar?

With ADOIT 10.0 this obstacle becomes a thing of the past, thanks to our brand new quick access feature, which helps you tackle this challenge head-on! Situated in the global toolbar on top, the quick access section allows you to get to your recently opened models, as well as your model and object favourites with a single click! That way, you no longer need to spend time browsing through your work to get back to the models you need the most.

Relations Made Easy

Defining relations between your EA assets (e.g. applications, technologies, business objects, etc.) is an essential step in creating value-adding knowledge in the organization. For that reason, ADOIT 10.0 is introducing further extensions to the drag & drop functionality making it incomparably quicker and easier than before!

Now, you can simply create relations by dragging & dropping models and objects directly onto the elements in the graphical editor, and ADOIT will display and guide you through all possible references to choose from.

Similarly, you can also drag & drop objects anywhere in the object properties, and create relations in the same manner. No need to dwell on the different possibilities, just drop an object wherever you like, and ADOIT’s smart technology will do the rest for you!

Quick as a Wink

In today’s fast-paced world, time has become a priceless commodity where every minute counts. So, to further improve the usability of the tool, but more importantly – save you some clicks, we’ve reworked the process of uploading images and documents to ADOIT, and made it much faster and easier!

All you need to do is drag an image from your computer & drop it directly into the drawing area. A new note object containing the image will automatically appear, ready for you to adjust and use right away. In similar fashion, you can just drag any file (Excel, Word or PDF) from your computer & drop it into the object explorer, and ADOIT will take care of the rest – quick, easy and intuitive, and above all else, a real time-saver!

The Virtue of Simplicity

To help you quickly identify the features you use the most, we’ve redesigned the way context menus and toolbars are represented in ADOIT. The toolbars have been extended with additional buttons, and the context menus cleaned up to display only the most important features on the top level, while the less-used functionalities have been moved to the sub-menus below.

That way, you benefit from a cleaner, more efficient layout, and get that one-click access to all your frequently-used features, while still being able get to all the other elements, whenever and wherever you see necessary.
